Microsft has released a patch that solves that speed problem of macro codes and it also solves the speed problem of Trados. If you use other macro programs like Logoport and Translation Workspace and have the same issue, this patch may also help you. You can download the patch locally here at my site:

English letters usually look ugly in Chinese font. To avoid this, go to Translator’s Workbench window, click on File->Setup->Fonts->and deselect the “all fonts will be converted to the default target language font.”
